Secondary school “Maksim Raikovich”- in the town of Dryanovo

Secondary school “Maksim Raikovich” is a central school in the municipality of Dryanovo.
There are around 500 students divided into 23 classes and 48 pedagogues are teaching there. From the beginning of the school-year 2014/2015, after closing the primary school “Vasil Aprilov” in the village of Gostilica, all the students from the closed school continue their education here.
After 7th grade the school offers education with specialized training in department “Natural sciences and Mathematics”, subject “Information Technology”. Department subjects are: English, Information Technology and Bulgarian language and literature.

The following clubs are formed in the school:

-          Club of the wise

-          Club of the talented

-          Web design

-          “Dances” club

-          “Youths of the Bulgarian national revival”

Partners of the school are: the School board and the Parents` committee, the local libraries and the non-governmental organizations. There are three equipped computer rooms and the school is working on projects for gaining and introducing new computer technologies. For three years the school works on a project- “Improving the quality of the education in the central schools through introducing all day organization of the school process”, where 13 half-integrated groups work- 10 of them on primary stage and 3- on junior high school stage. Through National program “Care for every student” are educated students in Mathematics and Bulgarian language and literature in Module: “Providing additional education of the students from junior high school stage of the primary education for raising the level of their achievements in general education training.”

All the teachers from the school took part in the National program “Qualification” with the purpose of raising the quality of the educational process.
