Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov”- in the town of Dryanovo

Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov”- in the town of Dryanovo is a leading economic educational institution on the territory of Gabrovo`s region.
Founded in 1962 as a technical school, today the high school, with its recognized name and authority, takes prestige place among the professional schools in the country. From the school year 2014/2015 it is a legal receiver of Professional technical high school “Dimitar Krusev” in Dryanovo.
In the Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov” the students are educated in subjects with third degree of professional qualification and extended teaching of English in two professional directions:    

-          Economic with subjects “Bank case”, “Operative accounting”, “Small and medium business”, “Tax and customs administration”, “Tax and customs servicing”.

-          Technical with subjects “Machines and systems with Computer Numeral Control” and “Computer technics and technology”

The professional high school has a renovated building from the project “School network optimization”

In the high school there are differentiated 2 computer rooms, a room for firm educational training with computerized place of work and interactive boards, multimedia hall, reading room, technical workshops, gymnasium and playground. Highly qualified teachers and specialists with a long experience work in the Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov”. There are taught students in day and independent form of teaching and from 2014 the high school works on the project “A new possibility for my future” for assimilating knowledge and skills in professional economic subjects. The students from the Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov” take active part in different economic initiatives, national competitions for accounting, regional olympiads and competitions and in this way they acquire self-confidence which is based on knowledge, skills and creative thinking.

Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov” works on the national programs of the Ministry of Education and Science “Students` practice”, “Success- Let`s make the school attractive to the youths”, “Qualification of the pedagogue specialists”, “Management for effective professional education”. The school works in close collaboration with the business and institutions of higher education. It has agreements with the Academy of economics “D.A. Cenov” in the town of Svishtov and Technical university of Gabrovo.

The high school is a member of the Academy of Central European Schools /ACES/ and it maintains active international contacts with professional schools and educational institutions from all European countries.

Foundation FARE Net-England actively supports the sport initiatives of the school.
From September, 2014 the Professional high school of economics “Racho Stoqnov” works on a project “Innovations in administration- English visa for the Bulgarian labor market”- of Key activity 1- Educational Mobility for citizens, Professional education and teaching in the European program for education, training, youth and sport “Erasmus +”. The graduates of the high school will have their professional training in ADC College- London.
