“Old Cultures in Dryanovo Municipality”  Trail
Starting point – exhibition of historical museum Dryanovo in Dryanovo monastery, where the guide talks about the old cultures in Dryanovo region. There are exposed troves from archeological excavations in the region. Next is visit of Bacho Kiro cave with guide (admission fee) and possibility to see the environment, where the prehistoric man has lived. He is the creator of middle-palaeolithic culture – one of the earliest in Europe. For visitors, there are two routes: a short route with a duration of 25 minutes and longer route – 70 minutes.
The walk continues on Dryanovo ecotrail to the locality Boruna and remains (unpreserved and unexposed) of the Roman, Bizantine and Medieval Bulgarian fortress Boruna.
Coming back to Dryanovo monastery and through the locality “Monastery vineyard” where the group of Priest Hariton (1876) has fight for a last time (here is laid a memorial stone plate), among ecotrail Via Feratta, the tourists reach the top – Chukata and remains of Bizantine and medieval  Bulgarian fortress – The Town (Grada, unpreserved and unexposed). There is a way for autotourists to reach The Town from Dryanovo monastery to Dryanovo and the village Tsareva Livada , driving on fourclass road to the village Docha, whence there isn’t asphalt road and parking to the fortress.

Coming back across the ecotrail in Dryanovo monastery and on the road Dryanovo, through the villages Gesha – Skalsko – Slaveikovo toward Gostilitsa the tourists reach the Roman old market place Discoduratera (unpreserved and unexposed). This is one of the unique cultural values of  Dryanovo and it`s the only examined and the largest marketplace – border service from the Roman era in the Bulgarian lands. The site is away from the town and is situated aside from the modern road network. Discoduratera is located on the ancient road from Nove and Nicopolis ad Istrum to Verea. 

„The Work of Revival Master Kolyo Ficheto in Dryanovo” Trail
Starting point - exhibition of historical museum Dryanovo about the life and work of the master, where guide talk about contributions of  Kolyo Ficheto in Bulgarian architecture and shows the visitors models of his buildings (admission fee). Across “Shipka “ street tourists reach the church “St. Nicola” (1851), continue to the Iconomova house (1859, guide and admission fee) and the reconstruction of the Dryanovo clock tower. After that, walking on “Gen. Radetski” str. “P. Cherkovski” str. and “Hristo Maksimov” str., people see the frontages of private revival houses. Other models of the Revival architecture are the old bridge of Kolyo Ficheto and Duhovnicova fountain, settled on “Priest Hariton” street. In front of the bridge you can see the Master`s face, painted on a big concrete wall. This is the place, where history and tradition are mixed with the spirit of the contemporary and modern arts.

“Revival House Architecture” Trail
Starting point – ethnographic exhibition of historical museum in Lafchieva house (guide, admission fee), where tourists see traditional Balcan revival house and the furnishing of Dryanovo house from the end of 19th and beginning of 20th century. There is an option for visitors to make a photo (by fee) with old town clothes. It is famous like “the house without nails” and it is the only one saved three-storey building, made in traditional architecture style from the revival period in Bulgaria. Its frontage is connected with other house – Perevata. There is made unique assemble  with two houses under one roof.
The trail continues among “Shipka” street to Iconomova house (guide, admission fee), which is old revival building from the second part of the 19th century, made by Master Kolyo Ficheto. On the first floor is exhibited rich collection of medieval and revival icons, painted in the period 17-19 century.
In short distance is the reconstruction of the clock tower. Private houses from 19 century, made in Renaissance architecture style (Afazova, Romunova, Taninova) on “Gen. Radetski”, “P. Cherkovski” and “Hristo Maksimov” streets, with Duhovnikova fountain and the bridge of  Kolyo Ficheto, enrich the whole picture of old revival Dryanovo.

“Revival Church Architecture” Trail
Starting point – exhibition of historical museum Dryanovo about the life and work of Kolyo Ficheto, where guide tells the tourists about the features of revival church architecture and the contributions of the master (admission fee). Next, visit the church “St. Troitsa” (icons of  Yoaniky pope Vitanov – eminent man of revival iconography and carving from Tryavna carving school). Walking on “Shipka” street tourists reach the church, built by Kolyo Ficheto – “St Nicola”, which is one of the best achievements of the revival architecture (interior icons – Yoaniky pope Vitanov, Dosyo Koev and Stanislav Dospevski; iconography in empire style by Anton Stanishev - follower of P. Garka – one of the most popular carvers of the Debar school), continuing on the same street to clock tower, which has been a model for creating the belfry of Kolyo Ficheto, and visit the revival icons exhibition in the historical museum – Dryanovo in the Iconomov house (guide, admission fee). Tourists reach the church “Vavedenie Bogorodichno” through the streets “Gen. Radetski”, “P. Cherkovski” and “Dosyo Stoynov” (it is from the end of 19th century, interior with carvings by Nicola Kasev). The trail continues to the churches in the village Ganchovets – “St. Paraskeva” (1844), village Dlagnya “St. Vm. Dimitar” (1842) and in the village Kereka – “Blagovestenie” (1847). The end of the trail is to the exhibition of historical museum in Dryanovo monastery (guide, admission fee).

     Note: Churches are in the St. Great Tarnovo Diocese and if the church directors don’t allow visiting, tourists will see only the frontage.
