Dryanovo’s Eco trail
Established in 2000.
/At the moment the wooden bridges and stairs are impassable/ 
Paths in the region of the rock "Boruna" make possible for the tourists to touch the virgin nature. Here they can take pleasure in rare rock formations, to rise up their adrenalin and to see rare species from the Bulgarian flora. There are three spacious platforms at the "Boruna" rock, from which the beautiful panorama of the Dryanovo Monastery region reveals. 

The walk on the trail lasts around 2 hours.

Eco-trail Via Ferrata - Dryanovo Monastery 
It was built in 2003.
The route winds from the monastery, along the railway line, upon the bank of Dryanovska river around "Sini vir" (Blue pool) on stone and metal stairs comes out on the edge of the rock chain in the north from the monastery along a stone path to the "Strinava"plateau /"Grada" and "Chukata"/, goes down through the forest along the monastery vineyard and finishes on the parking site in front of the monastery. The route reveals an incredible panorama to the Dryanovo Monastery and the town of Dryanovo. The visitors encounter with a great variety of flora and fauna. 

The route lasts 2 hours.

Nature Trail "From Discoduraterae Till Present Days
At 2 kilometers south from village Gostilitsa, Yantra river forms a small fruitful kettle, surrounded by wavy uplands. Here between the outfalls of two left sided feeders – Uzunovo dere and Malkoyalarska river were found the ruins of the old Roman stronghold – "Discoduraterae", which means "Double forced stronghold". Built and settled in the second half of II century, it was founded at the time of Emperor Marcus Aurelius from the citizens of Augusta Trayana and from ordinary road station has become one of the main markets in the Lower Danube provinces. A broad a comfortable road lead from Nikopolis ad Istrum toward Augusta Trayana, Constantinople and Asia Minor. The marketplace with the Thracian name Diskoduratera, were situated on that road. It has been a big custom station between Myzya and Thrace. There were also a mint situated in here. In III century, Discoduraterae has been destroyed by Gothes, but later it was rebuilt to become in its apogee with the arrival of Slavs. During archeological excavations have been discovered foundations of fortress walls, towers, buildings and other findings. Nature Trail "From Discoduraterae Till Present Days" offers an exciting experience, combining a beautiful nature and historical landmarks. The nature trail is 3 kilometers long with terminal point at the foot of the ancient stronghold Discoduraterae. Discoduraterae is part of an ancient trading path to Asia Minor, starting from Nikopolis ad Istrum (Its ruins are located at the village of Nikyup, 20 km. north of Veliko Tarnovo), passing through the stronghold to Augusta Trayana (present Stara Zagora) and Constantinopol. During the passage is observed the typical flora and fauna of Stara Planina. The trail includes an old Roman road, by which can be found the ritual mound "Yurta". There is also a Roman bridge and an old flour-mill. The trail is furnished with recreations spots and drinking water fountain.
